What are the common dosage forms available for dental compounds?

The oral mucous membrane requires special consideration and it depends on the prescribed drug and targeted area of treatment. For oral mucosal pain or infected areas that are hard to reach or are widespread, there are liquid sprays and rinses that we recommend. Topical gels, such as Tricaine gel, are also popular to manage painful periodontal procedures, either before or after the procedure.
We can make a variety of dosage forms:
-
Liquid oral sprays
-
Liquid oral rinses
-
Troches
-
Oral-adhesive pastes
-
Transdermal or trans-mucosal gels
